Construction starts on new Yaesu building
On March 13, Daibiru began construction of a new commercial building in Yaesu. This forms part of the real estate company’s Design100 Project Phase-II which is aimed at maintaining and strengthening the competitiveness of existing assets. In this case, the previous Yaesu Dai Building that stood on this site was demolished. It had been designed by famed architect Togo Murano and completed in 1967.Read more
New condo for Kita Aoyama
Next month, construction will start on a new condo project in the Kita Aoyama address. The site is located behind Gaienmae Station and near the Olympic Stadium.
Roppongi Hills' high-rise neighbor one step closer to construction
On February 15, the Tokyo Metropolitan Government approved the land rights conversion plan for the Nishiazabu 3 Chome North-East District Redevelopment. This project will see a 54-story mixed-use high-rise built on a 1.6-hectare block across the street from Roppongi Hills.
Approval granted for Meiji Jingu Gaien redevelopment
On February 17, the Tokyo Metropolitan Government issued development approval for the 349 billion Yen (US$2.6 billion) Meiji Jingu Gaien redevelopment. This site includes the Prince Chichibu Memorial Rugby Stadium and the historic Meiji Jingu Baseball Stadium.
Redevelopment committee approved for 228m+ Shinjuku towers
On February 1, the Tokyo Metropolitan Government approved the formation of the redevelopment committee for the Nishi-Shinjuku 3 Chome West District Redevelopment. This project will see the creation of two 62 and 63-story high-rise towers containing over 3,200 apartments.

More progress has been made on the Mita Koyamacho West District Redevelopment near Azabujuban Station with the Tokyo Governor approving the developers’ rights conversion plans last December.
