Apartments for wine lovers in Shibuya

Apartment developer, Inovv Inc, announced plans for a new residential building in Shinsencho, Shibuya-ku, that will be designed for wine aficionados.

Construction of the tentatively titled "Shibuya Shinsen Wine Apartment Project" will start in May 2012. The 10-storey building will have 18 studio apartments ranging from 42 to 45 sqm (452 ~ 484 sqft). Apartments will be available for rent only, and will not be available for individual sale.Read more


On Sale: Mid Garden Akasaka Hikawa

With the first round of sales starting on January 14, price guidelines have been announced for Mid Garden Akasaka Hikawa. Two and three bedroom apartments are priced between 58 and 150 million Yen and the average price per square meter is 1,166,000 Yen. This property is competitively priced so sales are expected to go well. For a comparison, apartments in the recently completed luxury tower, The Tokyo Roppongi Club Residence,  just 500 meters away are priced at approximately 1,650,000 Yen/sqm.Read more

Mastermind JAPAN and Veritas Investment have started sales on their investment-oriented condominium in Azabu Juban. The "mastermind JUBAN" residential building has 44 units priced between 29.5 ~ 69.9 million Yen (383,000 ~ 908,000 USD). Apartments range from 26.35 sqm (283 sqft) studios to the 66.18 sqm (712 sqft) 2-bedroom apartments.There are 40 studios and only 4 2-bedroom units.

Located in Higashi Azabu 2 Chome, the apartments are just 2 minutes walk from Azabu Juban Station and the well-appointed Azabu Juban restaurant and cafe-filled streets. Japanese modern architect, Kengo Kuma, has designed a Starbucks Coffee store for Dazaifu City, Fukuoka Prefecture. The new store is located along the road that leads to the Dazaifu Tenmangu Shrine and is scheduled to open on December 16, 2011.Read more


Nomura's Proud Tower Shinonome sells out on 1st day of sales

In what appears to be good news for developers on Tokyo's bay area, all of the apartments in Nomura Real Estate's Proud Tower Shinonome Canal Court that went on sale this Monday received purchase applications on the same day.

The 52-storey, 600 unit residential tower is located on a reclaimed island on Tokyo Bay, an area that suffered from a  drop in popularity following the March 11 Tohoku disaster due to its liquefaction risks.Read more
