Mori Trust’s ‘Tokyo World Gate’ project in Toranomon, Tokyo, topped out earlier this month. The 180-meter tall mixed-use tower is expected to open in March 2020, forming an important piece of Toranomon’s transformation into a global business hub.

The name given to the tower building is Kamiyacho Trust Tower. It will include office space on floors 3 ~ 30, a 200-room Marriott EDITION-branded hotel on floors 31 ~ 36, serviced rental apartments, and ultra-high end condominiums with hotel services on penthouse floors 37 and 38. The luxuriously-appointed sky home penthouse condominiums are said to range in size from 150 ~ 400 sqm (1,614 ~ 4,304 sq.ft), with a duplex unit featuring ceiling heights of up to 6 meters.

Offices will have floor plates of 4,000 sqm (43,000 sq.ft). The hotel will have interiors designed by Kengo Kuma, along with restaurants, lounge bars, spa and a gym.
