Philippine real estate developer DoubleDragon Properties is about to embark on a 450-room hotel project in Niseko.

The hotel will provide lower-priced rooms and target group tours and budget-conscious travelers. During the off-season summer months, it will double as short-term accommodation for construction workers. Most of the rooms will be between 20 ~ 25 sqm (215 ~ 269 sq.ft).

The 6-story hotel will have a total floor area of over 20,000 sqm and is located on a 9,000 sqm parcel of land in Kutchan Town. Construction is expected to span from this June until September 2027.

DoubleDragon’s ‘Hotel 101’ brand will go in as the operator in its first expansion into the international market.
