According to the Nikkei Shimbun, Daiwa House Industry is planning to develop 3,000 serviced apartments nationwide to tap into the growing demand for comfortable, short-term accommodation for foreign tourists. The apartment hotels, or serviced apartments, will include kitchens, rooms for up to 4 ~ 6 guests, and allow guests to stay for as little as one night.
