Additional details on the Uchisaiwaicho 1 Chome District Redevelopment have been released. The 6.5-hectare site is across the street from Hibiya Park and includes the Imperial Hotel.

The project is split into three segments, with a total of four high-rises to be completed by the late 2030s. A total of 10 landowners and developers will take part in the redevelopment, including NTT Urban Development, Mitsui Fudosan, TEPCO Power Grid, and the Imperial Hotel.

To improve the city’s walkability, a pedestrian overpass will provide direct access between the project and Hibiya Park.
