Tenants living in this new apartment building in Meguro will be able to enjoy free daily breakfasts and coffee provided by a hip coffee joint.

Lumiec Meguro is a 10-story, 18-unit apartment building located a 7-minute walk from Meguro Station and close to the cherry blossom-lined Meguro River.

Free coffee and breakfast is provided to residents each day between 7am and 9am in the ground floor cafe operated by Coffee Base – a trendy coffee shop that originated in Kyoto. The Kyoto shop is located in the BnA Alter Museum boutique art hotel. This is the brand’s first coffee shop to open in the greater Tokyo area.

The rental apartments range in size from 33 ~ 43 sqm (355 ~ 463 sq.ft) designed for singles and couples. Interiors feature exposed concrete, high and unobstructed ceilings, and built-in AEG washer/dryers. Monthly rents range from 220,000 ~ 291,000 Yen and up, or around 22,000 ~ 24,000 Yen per tsubo. This is about 20 ~ 30% higher than the average rent for comparable properties in the neighborhood.
