
The average asking price of a 70 sqm second-hand apartment in Tokyo’s 23 wards reached 68,400,000 Yen in June, a 0.6% increase from the previous month and 8.1% increase from last year. This is the 24th month in a row to record a month-on-month increase.
In the central 6 wards of Chiyoda, Chuo, Minato, Shinjuku, Bunkyo, and Shibuya, the average price was 97,910,000 Yen, up 0.2% from the previous month and up 6.8% from last year.
In Saitama City, the average asking price was 36,630,000 Yen, up 1.9% from the previous month and up 23.0% from last year.
