According to Tokyo Kantei, the average asking price of a  70 sqm (753 sq.ft) second-hand apartment in Tokyo’s 23 wards was 64,350,000 Yen in September, up 0.1% from the previous month and up 10.4% from last year.

This is the 15th month in a row to see a month-on-month increase. 

In Saitama City, asking prices are up 16.7% from last year, and in Yokohama City they are up 11.9%. 

In central Tokyo’s six wards of Chiyoda, Chuo, Minato, Shinjuku, Bunkyo and Shibuya, the average asking price was 92,390,000 Yen, down 0.1% from the previous month but up 7.7% from last year.
