Preparation for the Shibuya Station Sakuragaoka Exit District Redevelopment is scheduled to start in January 2019. Demolition of the existing buildings will start in January, with construction of the new buildings to begin in 2020. Completion is expected by late 2023.

The site covers 2.6 hectares on the south-western side of Shibuya Station, towards the direction of Daikanyama. It is divided into three blocks:

  • Block A: 179m tall, 39-storey office tower. Completion: November 2023.
  • Block B: 133m tall, 29-storey apartment tower (170 apartments), office, retail and serviced apartment building. Completion: November 2023.
  • Block C: 17m tall, 4-storey church. Completion: May 2020.

This forms part of the major redevelopment underway around the Shibuya Station area. The entire district redevelopment is scheduled to be completed by 2027.
