The modelroom for Mitsubishi Jisho Residence’s latest condominium ‘The Parkhouse Shibuya Mitake’ has been specially designed in collaboration with the Japanese sales representatives for vacuuming robot Roomba.

The showcase apartment features a special cupboard with a charging station for the Roomba. The length of the carpet pile and height of the furniture and chairs was also give careful consideration to allow the machine to move around easily. Apartment buyers will have the option to incorporate the same design into their unit.

The Parkhouse Shibuya Mitake is a 18 story condominium that is just a 2 minute walk from Shibuya Station and 11 minutes from Omotesando Station. Completion is expected by February 2014.

This is a leasehold property (not freehold) and the lease expires in 2074. At the end of the lease, the building must be demolished and the land returned to its owner. Apartment owners will be required to pay a monthly land rent to the landholder, and this rent can be adjusted annually.

The 112 apartments range in size from 32.19 – 64.23 sqm (346 – 691 sqft). Prices range from 29 to 62 million Yen (370,000 – 790,000 USD). The average price per square meter is 933,000 Yen (~1100 USD/sqft)

Sales are scheduled to begin by the end of November, with the modelroom opening tomorrow.
