The Parkhouse Ikedayama is a low-rise building containing two and three bedroom apartments. The apartments are located in the very exclusive Ikedayama residential neighborhood. This small enclave is home to many wealthy Japanese and their palatial private houses.
The site of The Parkhouse Ikedayama was the former official residence of the chief secretary of the Cabinet Legislation Bureau. At one point it was also used as former Prime Minister Koizumi’s official residence. The former residence was built in 1997 at a cost of 1.1 billion Yen. The house and land was estimated to have a value of 3 billion Yen (2,045,000 Yen/sqm) in 2007.
Sales began in June 2012 and all apartments had sold out by the developer by August 2013. When new, apartments were priced from 76 ~ 160 million Yen, with an average price of around 1,316,000 Yen/sqm.
