A town planning decision has been made for the Nishiazabu 3 Chome North-East District Redevelopment. The project will see a 200 meter tall mixed-use tower with residences, office, retail and a hotel. Construction is scheduled to start in 2020 2022 2023 with completion tentatively scheduled for 2025 2026 2028.

Major partners in the development include Nomura Real Estate Development, Ken Corporation, and Takenaka Corporation.

The 1.6 hectare site is 300 meters from Roppongi Station and directly across the street from Roppongi Hills. It currently includes several older offices, apartments, houses and temples that will be demolished. Redevelopment discussions began as early as 2004.

Approximately 550 apartments are planned for the residential portion of the tower. For the hotel, the developers are targeting an international luxury hotel brand. While the cemetery will remain untouched, the temple will be replaced with a new 17 meter tall temple building. The TV Asahi-dori street running between this project and Roppongi Hills will be widened to ease traffic congestion.

The neighboring Roppongi Hills Mori Tower is 238 meters tall, while Roppongi Hills Residence is 160 meters tall.
